PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The task list and the margin, on the same job.
Most PM tools are very good at tracking work and completely blind to money. myWorkflow's project workspace opens on the same record as the job's financials — so the person moving the work can see what it's costing.
Every job is a workspace, not a row.
Click a job in the WIP grid and it opens. Inside: the tasks that have to happen, who owns them, when they're due, and the standing facts about the job that new people always have to ask about. The financial summary stays in the frame.
-
Tasks and sub-tasks
Status, priority, due dates, and assignees. Break a phase into sub-tasks without creating a second job.
-
Notes
For the things that are permanently true about a job — access restrictions, the inspector’s name, the reason for the schedule change.
-
Comments
For the back-and-forth. Threaded on the job, not scattered across three inboxes.
-
Task templates
Build the checklist for a job type once. Every future job of that type starts with it loaded.
If you run the same job fifty times, stop building it fifty times.
Specialty contractors run the same shapes of work over and over. Task templates let you capture the sequence once — permits, mobilization, material release, install phases, punch, closeout — and apply it to a new job in one step. New PMs inherit your process instead of reinventing it.

Same Job, Different Access.
myWorkflow has role-based, field-level permissions. Your controller sees and edits the financial fields. Your PMs manage the work and see the cost picture they need without touching the numbers they shouldn't. Nobody gets a separate, stale copy of the job just to keep them out of the accounting.
Click between “Controller / Accountant” and “Project Manager” tabs to see examples of field-permission levels in a simulated demo. What project managers are saying…
